Kellie O'Shea

Kellie has been involved with PBSA since the Association’s inception in 2003, formerly National Association of Professional Background Screeners. She started on the Best Practices Committee (now Industry Practices and Education) co-chairing the Litigation Avoidance Subcommittee. For over 20 years, Kellie has been actively involved in the association across multiple committees. She served on the Board of the Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) and most recently joined the PBSA Board of Directors in 2025. She currently serves as the Board Laison to the U.S. Government Relations Committee.

Kellie is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth where she concentrated in employment law. Kellie is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, United States Federal Court-District of Massachusetts Bar as well as a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
