Bob Capwell
Robert Capwell is a leading expert in the background screening industry with over 30 years of experience. As Chief Knowledge Officer at Employment Background Investigations, Inc., Bob oversees EBI’s ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO27001 Information Security Management standards. Bob is a past chairperson of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners and helped lead a task force to transform the organization into the global Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). A compassionate leader and advocate of the PBSA’s globalization, Bob is a sought-after presenter among industry colleagues, recruiters, human resource professionals, and loss prevention experts worldwide. He is a co-author of the “Pre-employment Background Screening Guidelines” published by ASIS International and has written several articles on background screening throughout his career. A graduate of Penn State University, Bob currently sits on the Penn State Behrend Campus Council of Fellows and the Sam and Irene Black School of Business Advisory Board.
