My role at PBSA:

My role at PBSA has always been as a member but as a member of a community I do believe that to receive benefit from your membership, you need to contribute and partake. Since attending my first conference some years ago in Orlando I realised there was very little African input and as a result very little direct benefit for African members. Over time this has changed and Africa is now represented on the Europe and Africa Chapter and we have more African members questioning their roles and benefits from PBSA.

 

Why I wanted to volunteer with PBSA:

To help other African members receive benefit from PBSA and contribute to our fellow members globally.

 

What I do when not at work:

Love to travel, spend time with my family, give back to the community and find another bucket list item to achieve.

 

What I'm reading:

Many things - current global affairs, managing finances, novels and trying to stay up to date with the crazy new world of AI

 

Favorite website, podcast, blogs, etc.:

I am not much of an audio person so prefer to read than listen or watch so I subscribe to many news channels, industry updates and travel blogs.

 

On my desk right now (books, personal items, etc.):

Chaos - health drink, notes on client meetings, health forms to complete, my phone and ear pods.
