David Cole is Head of Regulatory Compliance at Zinc, with nearly twenty-five years of experience across global background screening. His career spans a decade with two of the world's leading screening providers, six years as an independent consultant working alongside industry regulators, government departments, and national security advisors, and further experience with UK-based screening firms, giving him a rare breadth across commercial, regulatory, and advisory dimensions of the industry.
At Zinc, David leads compliance and regulatory strategy, translating complex and evolving requirements into practical screening solutions for clients across multiple sectors. A committed PBSA member, he brings a global perspective and a track record of cross-sector collaboration to everything he does within the association.
