Chetan Desai is the Chief Executive Officer at SecureSearch, a leading background verification company he founded in 2008. In a career spanning over 35 years, he has been a pioneer of the background screening industry in India, setting up one of the first screening practices in the country in the early 2000s.

Since joining PBSA in 2017, Chetan has been actively involved with the regional leadership team in Asia-Pacific, including tenures as its Secretary, Chair of the Membership Committee and subsequently as Chair of the APAC Council for 2022-23. He currently serves on the Board of Directors, and is the Board Liaison for APAC. As a trusted veteran within the screening community, Chetan continues to play an active role in growing the influence of PBSA and in promoting probity and ethical practices in the background screening industry.
