First Timer Orientation

First-time attendees are invited to this informal gathering for a chance to meet other first-time attendees and members of the PBSA Board of Directors. Following the meeting, attendees can walk together to the Network Reception.

Monday Morning Meet Up

March 30 | Location Coming Soon

Kick off your day with key event highlights, schedule planning, and great conversation. Grab breakfast on the exhibit floor, then join fellow FTAs, staff, and mentors at the reserved Foyer tables before sessions begin.

Ribbon Wall

March 29 | Foyer

Easily spot other first-time attendees by the "First-Time Attendee" ribbon on their badge making it easy to identify new friends. Be sure to pick one up at Ribbon Wall located in the Foyer.

First-Time Attendee Tips

Create an Agenda

Plan your conference experience by creating an agenda of sessions you wish to attend using the conference app. Be sure to download the app before arriving in Washington, DC.

 

Engage with Other Attendees

Connect with fellow attendees through the app and engage with them via the activity feed, which is particularly popular among participants!

 

Connect with a Mentor

Experienced attendees can support first?time participants through the Mentor Program, offering guidance on networking and navigating the conference. Mentors and mentees can sign up during registration, and mentors will be available throughout the event to provide support.
