Rick has been at the forefront of the HR technology industry since 2000, when he co-founded Revsolutions Inc., which was later acquired by Talemetry Inc.

At Talemetry, he led teams responsible for designing and delivering cloud-based applications adopted by organizations of all sizes.

He went on to co-found HRNX, an Integration-as-a-Service platform for HR applications, and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Joynd Cloud Connectors, a leading HR integration technology company.

Over the past 25 years, Rick has worked directly with hundreds of HR technology vendors and their platforms.

He has actively contributed to industry initiatives through the HR Open Standards Consortium, the Velocity Network, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s T3 Innovation Network.

Rick holds degrees in Systems Design Engineering and Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo.

Julian Franklin is an accomplished business leader, with over 25 years of client- and agency-side experience across the consumer-packaged goods and sports sectors. His career spans both Canada and the U.S., where he has spearheaded transformative initiatives for some of the most prominent organizations in the industry. Notable leadership roles include tenures with the Toronto Blue Jays, Kraft Heinz, Geometry Global, and most recently as Vice President of Partnership Development & Revenue Strategy at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE).

Julian currently serves as Principal of Franklin Management Group Inc. (FMG), a consultancy dedicated to delivering strategic solutions that fuel growth and innovation.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he serves as Board Chair of the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada, President of the University of Ottawa Alumni Council (Toronto Chapter), and Board of Directors for Golf Ontario. He is also a Founding Member of POCAM (People of Colour in Advertising & Marketing).

Antoine Guilmain is a partner and co-head of Gowling WLG's National Cybersecurity and Data Protection Practice Group. He holds a doctorate in information technology law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Université de Montréal. He has published numerous monographs and articles, lectures frequently and teaches at several universities.

Andy Hellman has worked in the background screening industry for over two decades leading teams in Operations, Product Development, Business Analytics and Strategy. He is a published author and frequent presenter on all things related to global background screening, ranging from GDPR compliance to Artificial Intelligence.

His international experience includes study abroad in Japan, working for an Italian technology company in Milan and running global screening businesses in London, Canada, the US and Singapore. He also holds IAPP CIPP/E and CIPM certifications, as well as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).

Shannon McKinnon is a seasoned Screening Analyst with the Port Hope Police Service in Port Hope, Ontario, bringing over 20 years of experience in the Criminal Justice sector and criminal records management. Her expertise spans the Criminal Code of Canada, the Youth Criminal Justice system, and advanced records management through NicheRMS, along with a strong background in business development.

Known for her approachable style and deep operational knowledge, Shannon has become a trusted resource in streamlining processes and ensuring compliance in complex regulatory environments. She is passionate about supporting ethical, community-focused partnerships through accuracy, integrity, and innovation in criminal records screening.

Shannon lives in Bowmanville, Ontario, with her 17-year-old daughter, Charlotte, and their energetic 3-year-old Chiweenie, Hank. She brings both warmth and professionalism to every conversation—and every conference.
